THE MIRROR PLAYERS
A full-length musical set in pre-industrial, rural England. In West Poynt everyone is excited by the arrival of an exotic troupe of travelling players with their 'Mirrors and Magic'.
The story revolves around the effect their short visit has on the lives of the local people.  In particular Eleanor, a young woman frustrated by her betrothal to Zeb and society's demands that she become 'a good wife and mother' and Silas, once a revered travelling story-teller, now settled and leading the home-spun 'Red Lion Players'.  As they watch 'The Mirror Players', they see themselves relected both in the play and in the mirrors of 'Image' and Imagination'.

The show offers plenty of opportunity for character acting through a wide range of magical, 'Theatricals', serious 'Leads' and Comic parts.

Suitable for a chorus of 12 years and upwards,
with the main characters needing to be more senior.
